Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach A.G Payless Tire Shop at (609) 428-7902; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 128 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Atlantic City and suggests consistent service.
Atlantic City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Atlantic City peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Saved me from a flat tire while on vacation in Ventnor. They were open on a Saturday, sent a truck around within an hour to take the flat tire off my car, and Mario brought back a new tire 30 min later for a very reasonable price. Super friendly and helpful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I go to AG Tires in Atlantic City all the time, and they are always super professional, super nice, and take great care of their customers. They’re doing an amazing job fixing this place up and making it look beautiful and welcoming for everyone who comes in. You can really tell they truly care about the people they serve. In my opinion, this is the best tire spot around. They’re honest, quick, and always make sure you leave feeling taken care of. Every time I come in, they treat me with respect and make the whole process easy. It’s hard to find a shop that has great prices, great service, and actually cares about the community, but AG Tires does all of that. If you need new or used tires, come here — they’re going to get you straight. I highly recommend them to anybody in Atlantic City or the surrounding area. Whether you need a quick tire fix, a replacement, or a solid used tire, AG Tires is the place to go.

Was in AC for a little vacation and got a flat tire found this shop thankfully open on a Sunday was able to get in and out pretty quick with a new tire for a great price compared to what i usually pay for tires and even though i live in another state they told me if I have any issues with the tires to give them a call and we can try to work something out together.

We brought a tire on our rim to be fixed on Monday the 30th. They were getting ready to close, so they said to leave the tire and they would fix it in the morning. We'll they can't seem to find our tire now. No one can find it, no one knows who was working at closing that day. The woman on the phone was just irritating and didn't seem to know anything. She should get another job. I believe we were robbed, and it doesn't end here.
